In her words: 'Welcome to my wedding shop! I love creating unique organic metal jewelry and custom nature inspired wedding bands in 100% recycled gold and sterling.'
My little green heart skipped a beat. Not only are they hand made, beautiful, and really different: hey are made of recycled gold and sterling!!! They are inspired by nature and good for nature.

This is just one of the sets that I love. There are many more designs and other types of jewelry. If you are interested, you can see how she makes the rings on her Jewelry Blog. Beth thank you for your creativity! Your product is beautiful, I wish you the best of luck!
Yesterday my sister-in-law and I spoke about some ideas about how she might create a grouping of photographs for the wall in my niece bedroom. It got me to thinking that this is probably something that everyone could use a little creative help with. So, here is a little inspiration....

Ravi is thinking of doing a set of mounted prints something like the grouping above. It will be fun to see how it comes out. She is using a series of photos that I took of Priya with and umbrella on the beach. You can see them HERE.

These groupings would look great in frames or gallery wraps.

Have you created any wall groupings that you think works particularly well? I would love to hear how you have been creative or any ideas that you have that you think might work well. If you come up with a good one I will create a mock up like one of the ones you see above and post it.
I recently went to Costco and noticed that they already have holiday gear lining the aisles! Crazy right? Well, it got me to thinking that if anyone wants to take advantage of my super cool holiday cards, they better start planing their photo sessions now.
That is right, it is time to start thinking about holiday cards, and I would love to help you to create your perfect card! Take a peek at some sample cards I have this year.

If you want to take advantage of these cards, or have me create something totally different for you let me know! If you act quickly, I still have sessions available so we can create a new memorable portrait for your family.
I am so excited!!! My new referral cards are in and I LOVE them. The company that I am getting them printed through is amazing and hopefully my clients will love them as much as I do.

These are the cards that I ordered for Malea. They turned out so cute!

The back shows the perks that come along with having one of these cute little cards. After completing a shoot I will make these cards with one of my favorite images. My clients will then be able to hand them out to anyone they think might like to book a session with me. The referee will receive a free 8x10 print from their photo session and the referrer will receive an 8x10 when one of their cards comes back to me. They also have the option of saving five 'credits' and getting a canvas wrap. Pretty cool right?

The best part is that the company that I am using to print these cards is green. The paper for these cards is sourced from sustainable forests. The packaging that it comes in is 100% recyclable and made from recycled pulp. It makes my little green heart happy. So, leave a comment and tell me what you think. Do you like them? Do you think my clients will like them? How many do you think I should give to my clients?
I have been working with Decade Construction from Walnut Creek on getting their projects photographed for their website. These are a few after shots of one of the houses that they have worked on. As you can see, it is beautiful work and I loved getting the images for them.

I used a technique called High Dynamic Range (HDR) to capture these images. Basically what I do is take several images of varying exposure. Back in my digital darkroom I stitch them on top of each other and I can get a larger range of luminance than you would normally be able to capture with a camera. It is essentially several images stacked on top of one another.

This is the office. Poor baby right? Who doesn't want an office with a slide coming out the front of it? Isn't this what we all dream of as kids? If the yard looks familiar it is because I recently put up a post of the little girls that can frequently be found playing in it. Remember?
So, what do you think? Do you like the HDR images or do you think it is too much?
