Rachel and Morgan invited me out to the Stanford Red Barn not too long ago to do a portrait session with their horses. I have done a couple of other portrait sessions with horses before (This is Bella, La Jolla Schooling Show, Willow Creek Horse Park) and I always love it. It is amazing to bring my two loves together: photography and horses. Now it is just a matter of doing it on a regular basis. I am thinking of starting to ride again, and as long as I have the Stanford facilities available to me it only makes sense. It helps that my darling friend Jana is helping to push me in the right direction.

Rachel and Morgan where awesome to work with, and the horses where amazing as well. As always, with these critters it is a challenge to get their ears pricked forward, but a little coaxing with some carrots did the trick!
