Charlie's Mom lost her cat last year. So, this year we decided it was time that she get some new friends. Gene, Charlie and myself went to the local animal shelter and picked out two little ones. She wanted a ginger kitten and, well the other one sort of picked us. The first picture was taken at the shelter. Charlie picked up this little tortoiseshell kitten and she crawled up onto his shoulders and started purrrrrring and grooming him. We were sold.
They have been home for a couple of weeks now and their personalities are blossoming. The tortie kitten is a little girl, Gene named her Sally. She is the more rambunctious of the two. A naughty little rascal but so so loving. The ginger is a boy, named Harry. Rightly so.
The kittens have brought the home to life with sounds of little paws scampering about. It will be crazy to see how much they have grown when we come back next year.
