Before this session, I had never met Ginger and Charlie. We had only ever spoken on the phone. We decided to meet in San Francisco for their engagement session. Shelly came along to help me out and the four of us perused San Francisco for fun places to shoot. It was an afternoon full of fun. I loved how Ginger and Charlie interacted with one another. So happy to be together.
It is fun to watch as the session proceeds, they become more and more comfortable with me and with my camera. I learn how they are as a couple and they learn how I am as a photographer.
I try to make the session relaxing as possible. People get so caught up in wedding planning and life in general that they forget to just be together. Ginger and Charlie were in every way together. They cuddled, they laughed, they teased. It was San Francisco: they shivered.
By the end my couples are usually pretty comfortable with me. It makes the wedding day SO much easier for me and for them. Ginger and Charlie are getting married in Monterey. It is going to be so much fun!
We ended the session with a steaming cup-a jo. Ginger was delighted with the warmth and caffeine. It beamed from her cheeks.
Ginger and Charlie: Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your lives. You are such a sweet and FUN couple. Your wedding is going to be a complete pleasure to shoot. I can't wait!
