In the first moment she is shy. She doesn't quite know how to approach a stranger. She is two. Slowly she warms up and eventually she takes me by the hand and shows me all of the secret little places in the garden she plays in the grass and makes my heart melt. She shows me with simple perfection what it means to be a child.
